We were approached by this niche supplier of flux and metal cored welding consumables and machines for hardfacing and maintenance applications to find a knowledgable sales manager for their far away territories, Asia and South America. After extensive research, advertising and screening interviews we were able to present a short list of three candidates all of whom met the clients requirements. The role was succesfully filled and the client have used our services for several other niche techinical roles since.
We were asked to recruit a global manufacturing manager to oversee the implementation of modern manufacturing processes and to improve and implement best practices for this multi site manufacturer of composite materials. A thorough search list was compiled and modern web based technology utilised to compile a long list of 12 candidates. We conducted competency based interviews and assessments to short list 4 candidates. The successful candidate was a Spanish national, he has now relocated with his family to the UK, from where he works on a global basis.

A mix of search and internet based advertising were used and a long list of 8 candidates compiled. Each long listed candidate was interviewed against a set of competencies, 3 were short listed and underwent a full range of assessments. The client made a swift and to date (18 months on) highly successful hire.
With the MD due to retire in 12 months and an big succession planning issue in their sales team we were appointed to resource a sales director for this manufacturer of filtration equipment. Our remit was find a leader to reorganise and revitalise their sales team and to succeed the MD on his retirement.
A target list was compiled and adverts placed in specialist press, over 120 candidates applied or were approached. 12 were interviewed of which 5 were shortlisted and put through a range of ability tests. Because the candidate quality was exceptional a third round of interviews was conducted by the group CEO before appointment was made within eight weeks of assignment start.
